Yongxiang, a subsidiary of Tongwei, owns four production bases in Leshan and Guangyuan of Sichuan, Baotou of Inner Mongolia, and Baoshan of Yunnan, and has ranked first in the world in terms of market share and shipments since 2021 (data source: InfoLink statistics). The company's products cover electronic grade and solar grade, realizing high-purity crystalline silicon "intelligent manufacturing in China".

Leshan stands as the source of Tongwei's high-purity crystalline silicon. Originating from Yongxiang Resin, the Leshan Base of Yongxiang Co., Ltd. has since expanded to encompass eight subsidiaries, namely Yongxiang New Energy, Yongxiang Energy Technology, Yongxiang PV Technology, Yongxiang Polysilicon, Yongxiang Resin, Yongxiang Silicon Materials, Yongxiang Polysilicon (New Materials), and Tongwei Green Energy. These companies form a complete circular economy industrial chain that combines the chemical industry with new energy.

From plant construction to product launch, Yunnan Tongwei Phase I project, a key project promoted by Yunnan Province, took only 355 days, setting a new industry record for the fastest project construction. On May 1, 2024, Yunnan Tongwei Phase II 200,000-ton high-purity crystalline silicon project, the world's first project with the largest single-line production capacity, achieved a one-time successful start. With the full capacity release of the Phase II project, Tongwei's annual production capacity of high-purity crystalline silicon will reach 650,000 tons, further consolidating its leading position in the global high-purity silicon industry.

On August 1, 2023, the People's Government of Guangyuan City and the People's Government of Cangxi County signed "400,000-ton Green Substrate (Industrial Silicon) Project Investment Agreement" with Tongwei Co., Ltd. On November 28, 2023, Tongwei Green Substrate (Guangyuan) Phase I 200,000-ton industrial silicon project started construction. The overall project plan is to build a 400,000-ton green silicon production line and supporting facilities. Furthermore, Tongwei Silicon Resources (Guangyuan) was established to meet the ore demand of industrial silicon production.

Inner Mongolia Baotou Base
The Baotou Base is based on Inner Mongolia Tongwei, the first high-purity crystalline silicon company of Yongxiang Co., Ltd. outside Sichuan Province. After continuous development, it now owns three companies, including Inner Mongolia Tongwei, Tongwei Silicon Energy (Inner Mongolia), and Tongwei Green Materials (Inner Mongolia), injecting strong momentum for Baotou’s construction of “World Green Silicon City”.
